The Douglas’ continue to serve in Australia where they teach, mentor, disciple and encourage the people. They have served faithfully in Australia for years and helped to plant Glorious Hope Baptist Church which is now completely graduated into a self-supporting church with an Australian pastor. This term they are focusing on planting a new church in the Sydney area.
Matt also continues his regular ABWE administrative duties as well. On most Monday mornings, Matt faithfully e-mails those on their prayer letter address list and reports on the church services held the day before and of their family activities during the preceding week so that we always currently know how best to pray for their ministry in Australia.
Matt and Barb lived here in Lake County about 8 or 10 years ago while they were on pre-field ministry (deputation), and worshipped with us here at CLBC when they were not away speaking at other churches.
Please pray for this famiy as they serve in the land down under.
