Dr. and Mrs. Alexander and Mary de Chalandeau
Baptist Mid-Missions
This sweet missionary couple have been serving the Lord for over fifty years. Alexander writes, "I was born in the home of missionary parents who had fled the Bolshevik oppression in Russia to settle in France. At home we spoke Russian and our father used to say, 'This language will be of use to you in the days to come.' God used this fine couple and their knowlege of Russian in amazing ways. Here's a quick summary of the works of which they have been a part:
- Serving in Eastern Europe and Luxembourg in indigenous church planting.
Planted indiginous churches in France. (1956-87)
Cities: Caen, Paris, Algrange, and Thionville
- Started the Pastoral Baptist Institute in Algrange, France. (1978-87)
- Ministering in Eastern Europe. (1973 to Present)
- Ministering in Luxembourg. (At the present)
They are currently in Luxembourg where they have planted a small Baptist church. Dr. deChalandequ writes, "Daily we thank the Lord for Christian friends who uphold us through prayers and financial support in our ministry as we spread God's Word in East Europe: Belarus, Russia and Siberia. It is a privilege to serve the Lord in these last days as we are awaiting Christ's return. May the Lord reward you abundantly." Please pray for this special couple who've given their whole lives to reach the lost for Christ!
